Paper mache "clay" trees with moonlight...
Paper mache "clay" trees with moonlight...
This was a multi class project. I cut out 60 or so cardboard trees. Made paper mache "clay" which is made with paste, toilet paper, water, spackling. I dyed it green with liquid watercolor. I also added a smidge of tea tree oil to make it pleasant to smell. The kids plopped this mixture on the cardboard trees and then pressed pony beads on to the tree. Next class we made a big moon using black paint for the sky. The next class we glued down the tree and added a gold star.
